Del Buono's Bakery
We at Del Buono’s Bakery are committed to quality baked good excellence and providing unmatched customer service. Our recipes are all made in house, from scratch from the original Del Buono’s recipes when the bakery was first opened. The current owner, Tom Whitman, bought Del Buono’s Bakery in 2013 from Constantino “Nino” Del Buono, whose father started baking Italian bread in Camden in 1926 before the Great Depression and later moved the bakery to 319 S. Black Horse Pike in Haddon Heights.
Since taking over, the new owner has added more pastries and made multiple improvements to the building and equipment while keeping the vintage feel of the bakery room. Tom bought a top-of-the-line conveyor baking oven that uses half the energy, added dough-rising rooms, upgraded the electricity and switched the main oven operation to the new addition in order to renovate the front of the older section.
The Del Buono’s team ensures your highest satisfaction as a customer. We hope to see you stop into one of our 3 locations in Haddon Heights, Marlton and Stratford, NJ to experience over 90 years of baking excellence.

Our Bakery Reviews
I have to admit I was very disappointed when I didn’t see the paper bags. Now there’s clear plastic bags. Oh, I was so disgusted just by thinking of all the chemicals those plastic bags release when putting hot rolls in them. I asked one of the employees If I could get a paper bag and she said I could, after I pay. I told her I didn’t want to use plastic bags for hot rolls as they leech chemicals into my bread and she proceeded to say that they test the bags. Does she really think I believed her? Plastic is plastic, period! Even if the bags are BPA free, I wouldn’t feel comfortable putting steaming hot rolls in them. She gave me a paper bag after I paid which I used to transfer my rolls and in the trash went the plastic bag. Talk about unnecessary plastic bags!!! I headed out towards the main door, didn’t pay too much attention to the new exit door by the new deli area. To my surprise the lady was following me as If I was going to steal rolls or anything. She made me feel so uncomfortable. I will be back for more delicious, hot rolls but certainly bringing my own bag next time!!
went to deal Buenos for rolls when ever the was a party being planned

Got an Italian hoagie without roasted peppers but hot pepper. Too big for my lunch when I
Returned to Virginia. I’ll finish it today.
I use to drive from Virginia to Del Bounos years ago early in the morning for the Knight of Columbus when we had kielbasa sandwiches st the School Bazaar.
The bakery seems the same to me?
Warm rolls that I eat on the way home, great pizelles and biscotti. Always a pleasure.
It's easier for me to go to Haddon Heights than Marlton.
I'll be there soon now that I know you're open after the fire.
Every time we go to see my mother in law, we stop here and pick up dozens of roll...and go home and freeze them. So good..
